Very entertaining game. Does that travel call on TeJon get called most times or not? I didn't see it. I really think that it had to be called, CP. This was very reminiscent of the '16 game vs. GB, but we won that one 95-94.

Isn't this just another big kick in the nuts! Just lost. I can't blame Lucas. He is our guy. Just lost the ball. Not sure on that travel. Abram had two blocks and GB got it the third time to put it in. Heartbreaking finish. This will hurt the rest of the weekend.

Paid attendance- 2,246
Gee, everyone who had a ticket must have came. I thought the number would have been around 2,500.

There were a couple thousand there, judging from the court side view I had. Certainly our largest home crowd of the season, and by a lot

Entertaining game. Disappointing result. Felt good with Lucas having the ball at the end but his foot just slipped and he lost the ball trying to recover. Nothing you can really do about that. I think he was going for the pull up jumper that he hits more often than not. Would much rather lose having at least had an opportunity to hit a game winner but wasn’t meant to be. Hopefully we come up strong these last remaining games to at least get us a couple more home games to enjoy in the postseason.
And for the record, the travel call was garbage. Nothing different with that inbound than any other inbound with under 6 seconds left in a game. No way that crap is called in a Duke/UNC game. The joys of mediocre reffing in a mediocre conference I suppose.

I do feel like our largest crowd games seem understated. I’m guessing that has everything to do with having a way too small season ticket holder base, so there aren’t as many no shows. I feel like tonight’s announced crowd with the number of butts actually in seats would have been in excess of 3,000 if it was a game four or five years ago (if that makes sense). I remember some of those games where the announced crowd was over 3,000 or even 4,000 a few years back seeming a lot more empty than tonight (or Wright State or Western Michigan for that matter).
Or maybe everyone is just more condensed in fewer sections now. There were a spattering of fans behind the south basket and in the corners tonight, but the sections that are available for sale to season ticket holders this year seemed packed.

"Tough loss for our guys, we really competed in this game and I knew our guys wanted to win this game," head coach Pat Baldwin said. "I thought they gave that effort. Unfortunately, some balls didn't go our way. One thing we were disappointed at was our defense – we think we are a better defensive team than that, but gave up a lot of transition points and points in the paint."
"Have to get back to the drawing board. This league is very tough and it's not going to get any easier," Baldwin said. "The thing that we have to do is take this like men, bounce back, and get ready for our next one coming up."

Game No. 90 of the Baldwin regime and "It's back to the drawing board" again. Is anyone else getting really irritated if not downright alarmed by this? And please don't tell me "It's just something that coaches say" ... because it isn't!!!

But that's the point, Matt. There are no adjustments being made here. If it's not one thing beating us, it's another. This is what bad teams do. From one game to the next, we keep finding new ways to lose!

We are not a good team. Just average. Which our record would read as. The Panthers defense was good in guarding the three. Yet, the bigs were poor guarding the rim. Maybe, Amir Allen would have helped. Didn't help that Josh Thomas got two first half fouls. Way to many points giving up in the first half.
