Think Lundy is familiar with him? Not in the same conference, but the kid was a D2 stud. Averaged 22 PPG last year and has shot over 40% from 3 in all 3 years (granted only 25 tries last year). But he’s a 65% career FG shooter. And he’d bring some nice size at 6’9” 220 lbs. Haven’t seen any film on him but the numbers look good at least. Guess it depends on how many spots we’ll end up having to fill. Sounds like not many as of now but you never know when that might change. Lundy is on it.

Idk where Davis as a 5 star comes from, but after seeing him play live I don't know if he would have been a piece for this team within the next 2 or 3 years. He needs alot of physical developement and tons of skill improvement. He is a truly gifted leaper but outside that his team won the city conference and promptly got crushed in the playoffs vs the first solid team they played. Also id probably say hes closer to 6 foot 4 based on my eye test and is not very fluid moving laterally. Would have been a nice local recruit but hes still very raw Tenn St. is probably the right level for him.

According to his mom, playing closer to home sounds like a real possibility. Marlon Ruffin is now following Coach Lundy on Twitter, for what it's worth. Sure, why not add him? As a walk on.

Take it for what it is. Both follow each other on Twitter.

Then he went to JUCO and earned himself 3 years of scholarships elsewhere. He would have been better than the majority of the guys on our team (averaged 9, 13, and 10 ppg in those 3 scholarship years). And you still think he should be walking on with us as a 5th year grad transfer? Not sure where those standards are coming from, but I think he’d be a great addition.

How many scholarships are available? If you count Bol and Simms back as seniors. Not sure how these extras years go. PBJ, I'm counting gone. 2 scholarships

Seems like Smith would be a possibility for filling one of the few available scholarships.

Guys,
Do we really only have two open scholarships?. Assuming Kane, St Pierre, Gholston, Lathon, Thonas departed...
I count the following possible returnees which adds up to 8, don't we have 13 total to fill?
*Newby, Hanc***, Browning, Sinani, Miskewiecz, Baker Jr, , Simms and Ross.
