Guys, Do we really only have two open scholarships?. Assuming Kane, St Pierre, Gholston, Lathon, Thonas departed... I count the following possible returnees which adds up to 8, don't we have 13 total to fill? *Newby, Hanc***, Browning, Sinani, Miskewiecz, Baker Jr., Simms and Ross. I would say Bol, not Ross. So with Arnett and Taylor, I count three open scholarships.

Is Dre's inclusion an oversight ... or was he talked into returning?

Is Dre's inclusion an oversight ... or was he talked into returning? I think this roster includes players who have eligibility from last year; not who is actually returning.

Kevin Cook recently started following Coach Lundy on Twitter. If you play the "who is following who" game on Twitter, eventually you're going to tear your hair out. Following on Twitter is commonly about impulse as much as it is about substantive connection. Now I'll say this: what I said mostly applies to players. If our coaches are following someone, that's more substantial. Gives us an idea of what level player they're looking to bring in. Everyone, remember what Coach Lundy said. "Everyone we want back will be back." So I'd expect some "Buzz-cuts" to be incoming as well. That said, Lundy could have the exact same roster as PBS minus graduates, PBJ and Dree and I'd still bet on him to win 15-16 games. The Horizon League was #26 in KenPom. This is for a different thread, but since the Horizon League has fallen off so considerably, the Summit has stayed consistent, and now we don't have a conference game in Chicago (where we get a lot of students), it wouldn't be the worst idea if Milwaukee explored the possibility of moving to the Summit League. I'm not saying we should do it, but the talent level is just better and we've got a lot of awful administrations here. Without adding football (no we should not add football), our goal should be to be the 16th member of the Atlantic 10. That would make our level for recruiting higher.

He’s going to want a few more of his guys in here and wouldn’t be surprised to see sinani bol and Ross all forced out and maybe another player or 2 as well.

I'd be a little more surprised if he forced out Sinani since he's a local kid. Wouldn't be a great look when you're trying to build relationships with the local HS scene.

Lundy has stated that local guys still have to be good enough. If he’s not good enough, he shouldn’t stay simply because he’s local.
