BC went to the NIT last season. Losing at Western Kentucky. Boston College was picked to finish 12th on the preseason poll.
Ky Bowman was selected to the 2018-19 Preseason All-Atlantic Coast Conference. Nation's Most Dynamic Guard - was the only player in the country to average at least 17.6 points, 6.8 rebounds, and 4.7 assists during the 2017-18 season. The Havelock, N.C. native was recently named to the preseason watch list for the 2018-19 Bob Cousy Point Guard of the Year award.
Notable Non-conference game: Loyola/Chicago, Minnesota, Providence, @ Texas A&M & @ De Paul.

Perhaps we can repeat last year and take down a Power Conference team on their home floor.
Perhaps BC can jump up 11-0 and we can take them to the woodshed from there.
Either way, I'm excited to tip-off the season!

Kudos to the NCAA for deciding Election Night was the best night of the week to maximize viewership for the start of the season. Apparently Wednesday & Thursday were booked.
We're fortunate the game should end around the time the polls close but the idiocy in general is shocking, even for the NCAA's standards.

When they change this start time to the season in May (I believe) the idea was to create a buzz and avoid the Friday leading into college football Saturday. I'm utterly disappointed that Wednesday night, the schedule is almost empty. Duke/Kentucky & Kansas/Michigan State is a heck of a way to start the year on Tuesday. Election Night was never in my thought process in May. That said, it's not like the NBA or NHL is on hold.

Last night, I accessed the ESPN app on my Roku to see if I could stream something on ACC Network Extra. I chose a replay of some random recent event and was able to get it. In other words, it works like ESPN3 (no extra charge), not like ESPN+ ($4.99/month). From what I can tell ACC Network Extra is simply a branding mechanism for ACC events on ESPN3.
Keep in mind ACC Network Extra and any other programming on the ESPN app requires TV Everywhere authentication as a subscriber to ESPN on a pay television provider, such as cable, satellite or certain live TV streaming services.
