I dont think I've seen anything come out about this yet.
According to Coach Baldwin, via the Panther Snapchat, the Black and Gold Scrimmage is October 18th.
Assumptions: Time - 6 or 7pm Where - The KC
First chance to look at the team, see the new players, get over excited about the season.
Also typically this is Free, they have in the past done ticket pickup (not sure)
Also they have done the posters to get autographs.

Nice event tonight. Solid crowd. Good amounts of students. They played two 12 minute periods. I thought the first half and 2nd half were different in what stood out to me. Jake Wright has a nice looking shot. I have him ending up with 8 points. Looked a bit tired in the 2nd half, so then his shot was not going in. Freshmen Shae Mitchell had a poor shooting night. Had a basket. Nice size and a good looking shot. All his shots were 3's or a long two's. Darius Roy will end up at point guard. Nice handle. A bit flashy. Had 8 points. Struggled from three. Shot looked poor from three, Soft touch on his drives. Jamar Madge made a three and made a jumper. Force full player. Looks outstanding for a walk-on. Harrison Henderson was just OK. I can see why he didn't get time at USC. He needs to pick up his motor and get his 6'10 going. He made a three. Had about 8 points. Amir Allen is a paint guy. Had 9 points. Nice size player. Wil Sessoms can be a beast. As is Amir Allen, a true 6'8 Nice size. Also, shots the three. Deandre Adams is flashy for 6'8. Shots many three. Took it to the basket as well. The 2nd half star was Elijah Goodman. 8 second half points. Can rebounds. Had to have in the teen's in boards. Great motor. Quite frankly he outworked many in that 2nd half. Te'jon Lucus should be a Horizon League star. Had three made three. 13 points. Great handle. Gets others the ball. Bobby Arthur-Williams a big body 6'7 guard. Faded away too much on his three point shot for me. 7 points. Carson Warren-Newsome was not in uniform. Bryce Barnes and Vance Johnson looked about the same. Both made a three.

Goodman was 4-5 FG (missed a layup under the basket) and had 14 rebounds. Looked like he’s been playing hoops all along this time with baseball.

Based off reports I've received, it sounds like the starting lineup might be Darius Roy, Jake Wright, DeAndre Abram, Elijah Goodman and Bobby Arthur-Williams. Fair?

Nice night to watch basketball. Thought guys got along together and played unselfish running the offense well. Defense was hard to analyze as tempo was fast. Lucas is a player. Best I have seen in black and gold in a long time. Impressed with length and handle of some big guys. Apparently everyone is a guard if they rotate on perimeter. May cause matchup problems. I think Goodman will get minutes. Does those little things with nose for the ball, sets best pick on team. Team is deep with talented freshmen that must hit weights. Tough to pick a starting lineup. I think season will start with Barnes, Johnson, Allen, Wright, and Abrams. End of year might be different as newcomers become more comfortable. This team could be very fun to wartch. There will upsets but times that if the three ain’t dropping, ugh.

Do they chuck up too many 3s? Everyone, it seems, wants to be the Warriors but doesn't have the personnel! Such a double-edged sword!!

Do they chuck up too many 3s? Everyone, it seems, wants to be the Warriors but doesn't have the personnel! Such a double-edged sword!! That style for the Milwaukee Bucks are going to be that way as well. Why take a 2 point shot from 15 feet that gets made 40% of the time, when a 3 point shot gets made 33% of the time.
