iowa wins in Ot to drop the ads to 4th by 1 point. if Milwaukee beats grand rapids in regulation tom, grand Rapids will finish with 87 points. , and pull Milwaukee to 86. this would set up a scenario where a win on Sunday would move the admirals all the way to 2nd in the division and give them home ice in round 1

admirals up 3-0 at the end of 1. so far so good a loss by Manitoba or Iowa would clinch a playoff spot for Milwaukee. iowa leads rockford 1-0early in the second, while manitoba and chicago are just getting under way.

ads now up 5-0, while iowa is up 2-0. absent an enormous collapse / huge rally by Grand Rapids this game is in the bank for milwaukee. getting to 86 points eliminates Texas and Rockford for the playoffs as the max points they can get is 84. it would then be left to a 3 team fight for 2 spots Milwaukee, Manitoba and Iowa.

ads win 5-0, while iowa wins 3-0. Manitoba is down 2-0 to the wolves. a loss by Manitoba will pout all 3 of milwaukee iowa and grabd rapids into the playoffs, with both GR and Iowa at 87 points and finished, while Milwaukee has 86 points with 1 game to play. Ads win tom, they reach 88 points and are the 2 seed. lose they are the 4. get a point and then it comes down to a 3 way tiebreaker which Milwaukee would lose having the fewest wins-36 (Grand Rapids has 38, while Iowa has 37) meaning they would be the 4.

Admirals are in the playoffs! first playoff trip since 2017, will now try to get out of the first round for the first time since 2011, when they reached round 2. since the ahl went to best of 5 first rounds in 2012, the Admirals have won just 1 playoff game ,Game 2 of the 2013 series against Texas, they were swept in 2012 2014 2016 and 2017.

theeres a reason for that- the ads havent won a playoff game since 2013. looks like they'll be playing grand rapids an d the first 2 games will be in milwaukee. it is a 2-2-1 format right?.
