Ads spank the wild 5-1 have won 8 straight, in a 3 way tie for 3rd with Iowa and Manitoba. Milwaukee would lose the tiebreakers based on number of wins ( 33 vs 34 for Iowa and 37 for Manitoba) so they have to finish 1 point ahead of either Iowa or Manitoba. Admirals have not advanced past Round 1 of the playoffs since the AHL went to best of 5 series for the first round a number of years ago. .

They're looking pretty darn good right now. If they can make their way to the playoffs, they could be quite dangerous.
However, I have to imagine some of their best players (including Troy Grosenick) will be heading to Nashville for their playoffs very soon.
For a team that looked like they were done as recently as 3 weeks ago, they are really fun to watch right now.

83 points with 3 games left to play. magic number to clinch a spot is 5, so any combo go 5 points that milwaukee gets and Iowa doesn't get gets them in. easiest is to just win out. which would clinch the 3 seed at worst, they would need grand rapids to get at most 1 point in the last games order to pass them for second, and get home ice. Rockford texas and iowa are still alive for the last spot, but need help.

admirals have 2 games left, magic number is 4. win their last two and manitoba and iowa cant catch them, as the max points they can get is 87 while 2 wins would get Milwaukee to 88.
