PB hovers over his players all game from as close as possible -- in the second half yesterday he never left the midcourt line -- and is generally VERY animated!

The inconsistency of this team is just the norm for this year so getting swept by IUPUI shouldn't be a surprise considering we were also able to sweep WSU. I thought we'd go 2-1 in the final three games but also felt we could realistically go 1-2, 0-3 or 3-0 simply because everything is possible with this squad. PB absolutely has to change his strategy on last second shots because EVERYONE knows Bell is supposed to have the ball. In fact, it's now embarrassing how much everyone knows his plan. I think at one point, he actually drew a triple team and we couldn't have kicked it inside to one of the bigs?

(Why didn't Alex Prahl see the court, by the way?) For the same reason(s) he doesn't see the court in most games.

If he was a 4 year scholarship player, then perhaps, but it's not by accident he didn't get a scholarship until the beginning of this year. Studer only played on Senior Day last year because the result was already decided. Our defense was bad enough earlier on and you don't put in even lesser talented players just to make people feel happy.

Question: how much could he have possibly hurt us in, say, 23 seconds?

Not fond of the way walkons are treated here.

I do not understand why Baldwin does not let his bigs go for an offensive rebound on free throw attempts, especially since the Panthers are not particularly good at free throws. If I remember right, there was a time that Nze was at the line yesterday and we didn’t have anybody trying for an offensive rebound, while Brett Prahl was at mid-court. Nze has something like a 46% free throw percentage; at least give us a chance at an offensive rebound. That just seems like poor strategy to me.. I understand wanting to defend against a fast break, but I wouldn’t think having Nze, Prahl, and/or V Johnson going for a rebound in those situations, especially since none of them were in real serious could trouble yesterday.
Also, how many easy baskets did Evan Hall make yesterday? It seems like we should have been able to make him earn some of those points at the line... according to the program at the game yesterday, he had something like a 29% free throw percentage going into yesterday.

My biggest disappointment was the loss of Stull.
Well you see he didnt get hurt, but I dont know what happened to him during that game, but I dont think he took a shot in the 2nd half at all. Never tried to pull up from 3. He folded and when we needed him to be a gamer we know he is, he folded.
Yet he played almost every minute of that game. That is on Baldwin, if he's not going to shoot, take him out for someone who will.
