You'd think you'd get a better shot than a contested 3 at the end of the shot clock. This is a common problem in college basketball. It's amazing how a majority of teams settle for a garbage contested 3 when down 2 in the final seconds. Run some action to get to the rim. You have at least a decent shot at a second chance opportunity than shooting a 30 foot bomb. |

In addition to what FTA noted, I'm baffled by the distribution of shots on this team. It seems to me that its one great strength is its shooting efficiency from interior players. Why are Bryce, Vance and Brett routinely getting only one-third of the shots? (How's that for not calling out any particular player or players?)

Probably because we don't have a guard who can make a good entry pass into the post. Brock does a lot of great things for the team but his interior passing is highly questionable.
