Well, was going to go to GB on Monday since I have off work...but now, I think I will stay home. Sad performances lately. This is exactly the type of attitude we as fans had in the '13-'14 season just before MKE went on to win the HL tourney. Again, I will remind us of how we felt with this thread uwmfreak.proboards.com/thread/6593/game-29-uic I thought about not going to GB that season during the HL tournament thinking they did not have much of a chance but am glad I did. There are several other examples of peaks and valleys from past seasons. Are you a band wagon jumper? A true fan is a fan through the highs and lows. If we stay low for a while, the highs will be that much better later on. Take it from someone that has closely followed the program since the Antrum era and sports in general since the late 60s. I have been to every home game (minus a couple here and there) the past 8-9 years. In the students from '10-14 and going to pretty much 4-5 road trips a year as well. '15-now I have had season tickets and stuck through the program through all the crap that has happened, so I wouldn't say I am a bandwagon fan. Either way, I get what you are saying and I may as well end up going. Every time I say that I am going to stop watching, I end up putting it on ESPN3 and watching. Just been frustrating and almost unwatchable the past 3-4 games.

Very good GoPanthersGo23. By asking "Are you a bandwagon jumper?" I did not mean to state or imply you are. I meant for that to be a rhetorical question. In retrospect, I could have worded that sentence to make it seem less directed specifically toward you.
I realize most of us who regularly post and read this board, albiet the relative few we are, are not bandwagon jumpers. Rather, we are diehard fans that have different ways of expressing our fanaticism. We have probably all experienced just wanting to get away from the frustration of watching the teams we care about at certain times. I know of someone who tuned out this UIC game very early for that reason. I am guessing others turned this one off early because they needed a break from the frustration and/or just did not find it entertaining on this given night (it would be an interesting topic - at what point in a game did you say enough is enough for that particular game?).
Similarly, a lot of fans took a needed break during and after the '14 UIC game that was the subject of the thread I posted earlier. I am sure this happens multiple times EVERY season. Even in the glory days at the height of the BP era, I remember one of the most dedicated MKE fans on the face of this earth walk out of a game against Detroit with something like 16 minutes to go because MKE was down by nearly 20 points and playing lousy. He did so because he needed a break from the frustration, not because he jumped off the bandwagon (by the way, he missed a great Panther comeback for a win).
However, as you alluded, time heals quickly and we diehards keep coming back for more.

Didn’t see last night’s game but in general it seems like the “sophomore slump” has it the young players on the team which is a bigger problem given how many of them play notable minutes.
