Tough for the Panthers to win, when the bigs don't score. Lack of points from the foul line is a terrible sign.
I hated the plan of not fouling with 40 seconds left. Panthers need to go for the steal with only 3 team fouls very late in the game.

Down by three and we shoot a two about 4 ft inside the arc at the end of the game.

Hopefully our boy Fabio can fix that in the future.

"I wish we were 13-0," Baldwin said. "I feel like we have a tough team. We can go a number of different ways depending upon the game. Our inside game has proven to us we can go inside and depend on them. At times we've also proven we can rely on our perimeter game as well.
"We've played a really tough nonconference schedule. Really tough. Most of the teams that we've played have an opportunity to win their leagues or be in the running to win their leagues. Now, you can throw our record out the window.

Really tough. Most of the teams that we've played have an opportunity to win their leagues or be in the running to win their leagues. Now, you can throw our record out the window. I'll give any new coach some leeway. He's trying to rally his kids and the fans. I get that. But this is just pure happy horsesh!t. Per kenpom our non-con SOS is 236! That's the second worst non-con schedule we have played since Pearl left. In Jeter's 11 years our average non-con SOS was 119 -- literally twice as tough. The two high majors we played this year -- ISU and UW -- are projected for last in the B12 and 9th in the B10. FIU is projected for last in CUSA. NIU is projected for last in the Western Division of the MAC. Montana State 7th in the Big Sky. Jacksonville last in the mighty ASun. And so on. For the most part, I think our kids are playing good ball. They have been well coached by a succession of good coaches in Jeter, Jordan and, I think, Baldwin, and it's a tribute to them that they have rolled with the punches that our inept administration has doled out to them. But let's not kid ourselves -- we have a 7-6 record against an objectively terrible schedule. I see that as the direct consequence of how thin we are, as our AD's imprudence has now destroyed at least two consecutive recruiting cycles. The only "positive" is that we are going into Horizon League play, so the schedule will actually get easier!

Maybe one day Rob Jeter won't be mentioned in every single thread.

Oh this is so rich. Complaining about the mention of former coaches! Something that never happened here while Jeter was coach, lol!
Settle in, boys. Until one of our continuing series of new coaches recruits a roster of players as good as the guys Rob left them - to say nothing of the high major players Jeter brought to our program that should have finished their careers as Panthers but for our AD's destructive decision - you'll just have to live with it.

And you constantly complained about "Pearl dead enders" for years.
