18 wins. This league is sewage. 18 is my high water mark. I expect 15-16. Bingo!

It's an AWFUL league ... and, by the way, I think that MU is grossly overrated at No. 36. At least at the moment, that is.

As a college football die-hard as I am. As helmet heads (which I'm not) who rips on basketball. At least in college basketball you get a nice report on teams before December. Unlike in football when people are saying who did Alabama, Wisconsin, Washington, Miami, Penn State really beat.

4th in the Horizon League? That's a gift. Too bad it doesn't mean jack squat. Like Stull said, you gotta go out and take it.

Finishing 4th hasn't meant squat for 10+ years. Unless you like 6th place trophy tournaments, then the CBI/CIT is right up your alley.

The only thing that matters on the increasingly disappearing mid-major level is the conference tournament. As I recall, we finished 10th last year. What did that mean?

What did that mean? came within a few defensive stops of going to the Big Dance,as a 16 playin. the conference tourney matters for all mid-and low-major conferences its the only path to the dance. all the at-large spots go to the big boys.

Not all of them but a large majority of them do. If a mid-major team plays a tough schedule and wins enough they can still get an at large. Of course it's an uphill battle but it's not impossible. If Milwaukee had a season where they went like 27-5 with wins over two QUALITY high majors then they would have a chance. UWGB just missed a bid a few years ago.
