This addition definitely softens the blow of Zac leaving. Same height, same position and crazy enough even the same state. I was very upset with Zac leaving because I thought he was going to be special but watching a few videos of this kid and I'm excited again. Let hope he sticks around to help us win a HL title or two.

GMU Fan here. You guys are getting a great player and even greater person. Was sad to hear when DeAndre announced he was transferring. Great player to watch. He has some monstrous dunks and has pretty good offensive ability. When he's hot, he has some great games. Just a little inconsistent. I think Deandre didn't fit well in Paulsen's defensive centered system hence the transfer and lack of playing time last year despite starting the year before. At times he was also a little too quick to shoot the ball instead of creating plays or passing. None the less though, he's a good player with even more potential.
Best of luck to your Panters this season. I hope DeAndre grows this red shirt year and crushes it for you guys with his last two remaining years of eligibility.
