I don't know if anyone has put this out officially yet, so I figured I'd tweet it out. Got a text from Vance. "Great guy, he got me to stay." By my count, Milwaukee has three scholarships open for 2017. |

Playing Division One is the steak, compared to the juco route where shall we say beans and franks. Plus, it July, how many other spots are out there to go. Vance, loved the City of Milwaukee and the school. Glad he likes Pat Baldwin. No reason to leave now. |

I'm just glad he stayed. I've been high on this kid since we started recruiting. I'm hoping he turns out to be a stud, he's athletic as all get out and if we can bring back Townsend (I'm assuming he's the coach that really turned Brett into a solid big) then he's gonna to develop into a great big. Hopeful Caleb decides to return as well he's another guy I really like. Sad to see Alderson go but I wish him the best. He'll be great for Toledo. Newsome will be better than most think. Also very excited that no one transferred. That's a HUGE plus for this season and going forward.

I would have thought he'd have asked for his release earlier if it were related solely to the coaching change. Anyone know what might have led to this? |

Nero decommitted because he was closest to Omar & Lavall. Hopefully this staff pursues him again.
