2 wins away from the most improbable NCAA bid in School and Horizon history. only 2 teams have ever made the dance wiyth 20 losses- 2012 Liberty and 2007 Coppin State, we have 23. there have been teams with more than 20 losses to make their conference finals- Cal Poly had 22 losses when it got to the conference tourney final a couple years ago, before losing.

Can't help but think how important this tourney has now become for Linc. I wouldn't be surprised if he's working as hard as he can behind the scenes to land the South Florida job. His family lives around an hour east of Tampa and it's understandable that he'd want to be able to be closer to home. I can't help but think having consecutive NCAA appearances would help his resume A LOT.

UIC up 7 with ;less than 30 to play. At this point I'd expect Youngstown St to beat either UNK or Wright St tomorrow.

Man do I want this to be the year we make it back to the dance! More than I can even describe. But I'm not forgetting that we certainly have our weaknesses due mostly to inexperience. Great to see these guys playing with heart right now. And we're essentially playing with house money at this point, so let's leave it all on the floor tomorrow!
Should be a close one against UIC. Need to focus on slowing them down and keeping this as low scoring as possible to have a chance. Regardless of the outcome, it's great for our young guys to be a part of this and be hungry to win it over the next 2-3 years. Fantastic finish to an otherwise crap sandwich of a season. That being said, it's not over yet. So let's kick some Flame ass tomorrow night and shock the world!

Just hoping this added exposure can speed up the program turnaround. Hopefully turns some recruits heads. Just hope they can bus some students there and fans. Have some crowd noise for the team.
