My daughter attends Bucknell. The Patriot League does not have a tournament venue of any sort. The games are spaced apart and run like the NFL, the matchup high seed hosts the game. The nature of the league is such that the crowds aren't huge at most basketball games, but at least there is energy in the building. The finals on Wednesday should be good, Bucknell and Lehigh are rivals in many sports. Bucknell's Sojka Pavillion is a nice venue for this type of game and should be full of energy, while the Joe will be dead and lifeless. Does UIC vs Loyola at Cleveland State come to mind?

Btw, the silence has been deafening from the rabid Amanda-hating, Milwaukee Jeter/5th Placer fans. Such a great bonus! I expect this is just a preview of the years of silence to come from them. Or at least from the ones who don't decide to come back to being MKE Panther fans Huh? You've been tweeting with me all weekend. This is what I've been telling everyone: forget Amanda right now. She's not going to do anything to stop this team from winning, so focus on the basketball. I'll only say one thing regarding Braun: once she's gone, this entire fan base will be able to square up right behind LaVall Jordan. I'm already there because I'm still cut from the same cloth as you guys who kept coming when you wanted Rob Jeter gone. Jordan is a great guy with great character, and his staff is easy to like as well. He wasn't her pick; hell, he might not be if we (and really Lena Taylor) hadn't raised ten kinds of hell. Mark Mone changed his mind at the eleventh hour and went with LaVall Jordan over her hand-picked choice, TJ Otzelberger. Thank God he did. TJ Otzelberger may be a winner. He may be a Milwaukee guy and he may be a great recruiter, but like Bruce Pearl he would have had us looking over our shoulder for the NCAA cavalry for years. Unlike Bruce Pearl, he isn't a proven winner at head coach. So if we had gone that direction, we may have ended up with the bad type of Pearl and not the good stuff. This tournament has been just what the doctor ordered. I'm excited. I can't wait to go to the Black Rose tonight for their watch party.

Speaking only for myself, I like Coach Jordan. I think hes a fine coach., and has done very well, considering how young our team was and how much of our scoring from last year transferred. Getting to the Dance, regardless of record, would be a HUGE achievement, he would be the first Panthers coach to do it in his first season Since Jeter in 2006. I hope Cioach will be around for a LONG time, and hopefully become the first Panther coach to win 200 games _ the record is 186
