So CSP is one of the four PARTICIPANTS? I thought that they would be an add-on game!

I also thought the 4th game is a non-D1 game. I heard rumors that the others might be FIU and Ball State.
Looking at the 130 D1 schedules that have come out so far, we are in a new era of scheduling. Most schools had 2 to 3, non-D1 games on their schedule. Even, Illinois, Creighton and Northwestern have non-D1's. It's all about cost.

I also think that it's about "draw." What or who are we going to attract for these games? I'm not mad at you (after all, you're only relaying information), but I'm deeply concerned that the cost of staging these games is going to FAR exceed what we generate.

See, I believe it's the other way around in terms of cost. Like I've seen, everyone is now playing 2, 3 or heck even 4 non-D1 games. It cost less to pay a regional non-D1 to come in to your place to play, than getting on an airplane and doing a home/home with another D1.

Smart thinking. This may give our administrator the opening she needs to stop messing around with those pricey D1 teams and schedule nothing but WIAC members. After all, we're already drawing the same kind of crowds.
Pummel Point! Stomp Stout! Whip Whitew... Well, okay, let's not be ridiculous.

I'd love to get a look at this schedule so we can evaluate it. Do you think that it will be out before Labor Day?

Panthers at badgers on Black Friday (11/24) For what it's worth Green Bay at badgers on 12/23
Interesting that because B1G has their tourney a week earlier this year each team will have conference games the first weekend of December.

Panthers at badgers on Black Friday (11/24) Good to see Bucky's "anger"/"outrage"/"disappointment" or whatever spin term one wants to use lasted ONE WHOLE SEASON for Jeter's firing. They showed us!

As I understand it, we're currently waiting to hear from North Carolina A&T and Florida International. If they don't commit, we're looking at multiple non-D1s.

Elon was 18-14 las season, 10-8 in conference play(162 RPI). Wins against South Florida, NIU and UIC. Lost to Georgetown by only 3 and Duke by 11. So they were a pretty good get for this tournament. FIU not so much..
