Bounce back win? Let's hope so.
Since this is on a Thursday lets hope for less Valpo fans, I really can't stand them, crying every time their team gets a foul. It's like Butler back in the day but worse.

Panthers are a 8 point dog. I thought it would be higher.

Cody-17pts/3rebs Johnson 11pts/2rebs Brett 7pts/2rebs Brock-7pts/3rebs Bell 5pts/6rebs/3ast
Need more scoring. 19 points in the first half was rough. Played excellent defense for 28 minutes. Valpo size was a problem for UWM.
Excellent student attendance. Had to be about 600 students.

Alec Peters scored 16 of his 22 points in the second half when Valparaiso opened with a 20-4 run.
Micah Bradford added 14 points and Shane Hammink 12 for the Crusaders (19-4, 9-1 Horizon League), who last won nine straight in the first half of the 2007-08 season.
Peters opened the game with a 3-pointer and the Crusaders knocked down five, two by Peters, to take a 26-19 lead at the half. Both teams shot under 40 percent.
Hammink had three points and Peters a trey to start the second half as Valpo quickly pushed the lead to double figures for good. Peters had another 3 plus a pair of free throws in a 12-0 surge that made it 46-23 with 11:04 to play. The Crusaders shot 59 percent and made 15 of 20 from the line in the second half.
"For us, at this point in time, as we progress and as we grow – to get them here and measure ourselves – they are in first place for a reason," Jordan said. "And we saw why tonight and we will learn from this one." "I was extremely pleased with our crowd turnout and the students at the game," Jordan said. "We had the energy that we want and want to continue in Panther Arena."

53 points ties a season low, we scored 53 against CSU as part of that 7 game losing streak.
