Have you seen the PantherU board? All it is is them still crying and b****ing OVER NINE MONTHS LATER! It's a shame Jimmy hasn't worked out some sort Kleenex sponsorship because they could really use it. It's a shame your father hadn't worked out a Kleenex sponsorship before you were conceived. I'm not bothered by the promotion. Do what you can to get people in the door. It's not like there are going to be enough people there to create a problem anyways. Students still get their bus ride, so if any of them are drinking they'll get a ride right back to campus. It should be noted that Cleveland State's $1 beer, $2 food items and $6 ticket promotion has not resulted in a noticeable increase in ticket sales. This is anecdotal evidence at best, so the promotion could work. It would be nice if NACMA put together a database of promotions and what their effect was on ticket sales across Division I. [ The problem with these "promotions" is that they are not promoted. The only reason I know about the $2 beer night is because I read it here. You can have the best promotions in the world but if no one sees it; it doesn't do any good. Why don't they post this stuff to the Facebook page? Run Facebook adds, twitter, emails, etc.... I would be going to the game even without the $2 beers but I certainly plan to take advantage of it. |

If history is any predictor do not be surprised if ads pop AFTER the event and keep running on the radio as well AFTER the event. Kind of like radio spots in prior years hyping season tickets for the current year right up to and through the last game of the season...Such a deal....sigh

Wow the $2 beer promotion was such an awful idea! Students were so reckless, there were so many homeless people getting "cheap" drinks!!! It was awful. Disco Demolition next week!!!

In all seriousness, we controlled almost the entire game against a team that was 6 games over .500 before this. This game shows the potential we have and what happens when we play an entire game. Unless you are part of the Rob Jeter fan club of course. Then your take on this game is that we somehow would have won 20 games by now and had the conference championship locked up.

There were a few students with beer but not many. As much as any normal game, $2 beer would draw a much larger student crowd if it was a friday or saturday and advertised much better. Also, fairly decent student section for a winter break game.. |

First, congrats to LJ on his first HL W. Many more to come! Second, I think the switch in the starting line worked out pretty good, even if it is only one game. Third, Brock and Cody were big again and Brett flashed like he has at times this years. Which we're gonna need more of. Last, I've watched a number of the post game interviews and the students-athletes Q&A is never shown. Why is that? If I'm not mistaken they have always been shown answering questions in the past.
