PantherProud might just start to cry..... Totally wrong. I could care less who the AD is. Just want to have the conversation focus on the 18-22 year old kids I support more than someone's arrogant firey catchphrase. I would have preferred to have someone with some history here like my old boss MA Keeling be AD to be honest with you. But that should have happened when Bud left so that ship has sailed. |

Since my tweets are really the only place I have used anything like a catch phrase, I have to wonder how much attention a regular old guy who just happens to be a fan sorta but only spoke up recently is paying little 'ole DarkHawk...I have like 7 followers, and they all seem to agree with me, and it isn't like I tweet a lot or publicise the handle.....hmmmmmmmmmmmmm. |

More than all the AD's at UWM, at any level, in history. He only ran a program that was on ESPN more than UWM, too....but yeah...they are "only" D3 National Championships

I have a ton of respect for M.A. When I was a young sports editor at the UWM Post, I used the term 'Lady Panthers' in an article and she took me to task in the most polite way possible in an email. M.A. would have been 100x the AD of any of these clowns that followed Bud. I don't know how she would have done at the fundraising and glad-handing, but I have no problem believing she'd have been an incredible administrator. I was on the Search and Screen Committee that recommended hiring George. We had something like 81 applicants. I don't remember M.A. being one. That's unfortunate. Make her 20 years younger and have her apply next time! Haha |

He only ran a program that was on ESPN more than UWM, too....but yeah...they are "only" D3 National Championships FYI D3 recruits are leftovers that don't get free tuition. Whole different ballgame. Not like you are playing Kentucky. Anyone want to talk hoops or is this going to all be dark hawk and is and the chairman's wisdom.. if that's the case I have better things to do. |

I am not putting M.A. down at all. I just prefer a younger candidate and one that showed he could raise massive funds at a level where doing so is even harder. As for recruiting, he was not part of that. He just hired great coaches all day every day and gave them better facilities than we have at a D1 program.
As for talking hoops....this is the off season....what do you wanna chat about? Bucks lease? Black Mamba Day? Mock drafts???
