You're not here to fight BBFran's battles? This is a joke, right?
What I found amusing was that BBFran felt the need to create this thread and write a diatribe and proclaim how here's not going to support and be a fan of the program anymore.
Plus the fact that he's an obnoxious "know it all" it adds to the amusement. i have been a member of this board for several years. Over that time, i have seen a number of members besides BBFran express strong opinions in a manner that caused others to label them as 'obnoxious "know it all(s)." If you had played this game with any of them, my reaction would have been the same. But you won't believe me when i tell you that, because you wouldn't have played this game on any other member of this board. Because you don't like BBFran. You really don't like BBFran. You dislike him so much that you have to create a new user name (and make it as anonymous as you can) so that you can take shots at him. And i am wondering why. Did he get the best of some prior exchange with you on this board or on another discussion board? Do you work for Amanda Braun and are carrying out marching orders? Is there some other circumstance that you dislike BBFran? Not that it matters all that much. i'm merely curious. |

Both you and B. Smooth have the same unique thing come up - when someone quotes your posts, there's a nice loooooooong space at the end of it before the end [ / quote ] tag. You're both signed up two days ago. Would you mind just consolidating into one screen name? Take it from someone who once spoke from two different screen names on this message board, eventually it blows up in your face. Thankfully for me I was a 19-year old dumb kid who used that learning experience to grow up. What's your excuse? i was wondering if B Smooth was a friend of Pendleton, or an alter ego. B. Smooth seemed to be happy enough to join those who were grousing because BBFran posted again. They were saddened that this board is no longer the safe, BBFran-free place it was, and now they have to disparage him all over again. Pendleton wanted to come off as more rational, but he's saying the same thing: "Go away, BBFran. You're spoiling our fun." And of course Pendleton is saying the same thing to you, Jimmy, with his "chairman" nonsense. |

No, it was a thread about one person's decision to withdraw support from the Athletics Department because he felt the Director had behaved maliciously. You decided to attack that poster anonymously as an "elitist" to try to shut him up, and got called on it. |

I'm not trying to silence any person. I merely stated observations which skrapheap and PantherU took umbrage with.
I signed up on this board to express observations I’ve had from casually reading this board over the years.
I did not intend to go on this back on forth with posters such as skrapheap and PantherU, which this topic had nothing to do with them even though they insist that it does.
It’s fair to disagree with me but the time being wasted on this back and forth is ridiculous. Skrapheap, how many times have you posted on this thread?

Skrapheap, of course you’re wasting my time but you keep quoting my posts, referencing me, and attacking me based on my viewpoint that BBFran has come across as a “know it all” from my casual reading of this board over the years.
This leads one to hypothesize that skrapheap is BBFran. I don’t know if this is true but it would explain skrapheap’s intent to continuously and relentlessly attack and discredit me based on my unfavorable observations of BBFran as well as his obsessive need to always get the last word in.
If skrapheap is truly not BBFran, then I would suggest to skrapheap to find more ways to be productive with your time, than attempting to settle a stranger’s hash on a message board because you disagree with observations that he made.

It's time to come clean. I am Skrapheap. I don't know when I signed up for the screen name, but I needed an outlet to talk about volleyball and women's basketball and didn't want to use BlackPantherUWM's screen name. I apologize for any confusion.
I'm also BBFran. At some point I wanted to annoy Amanda Braun, so a decade before she came on campus I signed up for a screen name and spent years building up status on the message board and in the UWM community so I could become a hatchet man and screw over the athletic director.
When it became clear that there wouldn't be an athletic director here long enough for me to be the hatchet man, I applied to and was hired as AD at UWM so I could subvert the process, sabotage the program and allow my BBFran screen name the space to trash myself. That's right, I'm Amanda Braun.
Sound ridiculous? Of course. It's how the rest of us look at you, whether we agree with you or not.
