As a former Milwaukee Panther men's basketball player and someone who doesn't frequent this board as much as most, I find it very disturbing to come across these types of posts and conversations about the men's basketball program and the athletic department as a whole.
Trust me, I'm not the only former men's basketball player who is thinking it's getting out of hand. Quite frankly it's embarrassing and even more so I'm appalled how derogatory some of the comments are becoming. How does this portray us as fans at a local and national level?
Yes, we are entitled to have our own opinions and viewpoints about everything that has happened over the past few weeks, but as someone who cares solely for the success of Panther athletics and is a firm believer in the United We Roar campaign I believe now is a more important time than ever to stay together and move forward.
Going forward, all I ask is to keep posts related directly to the thread so some of us don't have to read through some of the garbage that's being said that's not relevant to the topic. If you want to have a conversation or gossip, then I suggest you go meet someone out for a beverage and discuss it off a message board.
Sincerely,
Justin Lettenberger #33
