Jordy should be 1st team, Fouse should be Defensive player of the year and Linc Darner should be coach of the year. Other then that it looks pretty good.

Jordy should be 1st team ... A team that finishes 5th is not getting two players on the first team. Who would he bump? Jordy's second team selection sets him up for some preseason accolades next season. I do agree that Darner should've been coach of the year, or Donlon. Drew just had to stay out of the way. Congrats to Matt. Well deserved.

I agree with you about Fouse, but if the first place team does not have two players on the first team, I don't think the 5th place team ever will. I think Darner deserved consideration but it should have probably gone to the Wright State coach.

Fair picks. I would only have quibbles. I think Kahlil Felder's presence pushed Jordy to second team, and you can't argue that. I think Jordy had a better year than Love, but they play somewhat different positions.
Anyway, congrats to Matt and Jordy both. Very well deserved.

It is interesting that a mid major conference would have 3 underclassmen on its 1st team all conference. Generally mid leagues are dominated by 4th yr players. It's a testament to the talent & recruiting in the League. I think you can pencil those 3 in with Dixson and Jordy for next year's 1st team.

Another testament to the talent in this league? The guy who is second in the country in assists is on the 2nd team.

Just shows how many good players there are in this league that he's 2nd team.

Historian D. Kelly informs me that Matt is the program's 11th Division 1 all-conference first-team selection and the seventh player so honored, joining Chad Angeli (2000-01), Clay Tucker (2001-02, 02-03), Dylan Page (02-03, 03-04), Ed McCants (2003-04, 04-05), Joah Tucker (2004-05, 05-06) and Anthony Hill (2010-11).
Congratulations, Matt!
