REBOUNDING, REBOUNDING, REBOUNDING !!!
If we only send 1 token guy to the offensive glass and drop 4, like they did at Valpo, I don't see where we even have a chance. Well unless we shoot something ridiculous like 75%, where offensive boards won't matter.
at Valpo Stats: 47 to 22 Total Rebounds 18 to 4 Offensive Boards 20 to 0 2nd Chance Points 40 to 16 Points in the Paint 23 to 0 Bench Points
Considering those stats, it's a miracle we only lost by 12.

FOUR league regular-season titles. FOUR Horizon League tournament titles. THREE NCAA tournament victories. TWO NIT appearances and SEVEN postseason berths altogether. I'm sick and tired of hearing that Valpo is the Horizon League's "gold standard." In fact, since 2002-03, OURS has been the better program. Period. UNITED WE ROCK! STAY TOGETHER! I agree with you, but someone might want to tell Jeter that, since he seems to think Valpo is the gold standard....just listen to his interviews on Valpo. One of my biggest problems with Jeter...his mediocre attitude and how something to occur positive for MKE has to be "something special." On the flipside, good players win games and we need this one, and we have enough of them, so lets go Milwaukee and get this! They grabbed this win with about 8 minutes left in the homegame last year lets not let that happen again!

TAKE CARE OF THE LITTLE THINGS.
That's on a sign in the locker room, and I don't know if it will ever ring more true.
Play defense. Box out. Take care of the ball. Use proper footwork. Move your feet. Stay in front of your man. Keep your hands up.
This team takes care of those things, we'll win - going away. This team does none of those things, the Crusaders will win - going away.

Very disappointing crowd. Not even Valpo brought fans.

Very good first half. Only Valpo's three-point shooting kept the lead in single digits.

Sucks to lose, however win or lose the only way to the ncaa tournament is the HL tournament. Valpo is a great team, but we are right there with them. They are definitely beatable. Hopefully we can beat them when it counts.
