Green Bay would have cruised if not for awful officiating. Green bays play by play announcer actually got kicked out for yelling at the refs Matt Menzl of Time Warner!

Wright State and Oakland will end around 12:30am Detroit time. My wife and I were just talking about that. Having just had the lovely experience of parking the last couple days in the Joe Louis Arena parking garage I wish the fans well tonight as they leave.

Green Bay vs wright st tomorrow. Milwaukee can be proud that they are one of only 4 teams to win a horizon league tourney game this year.

Play the champ game under the old format rules and there would be 9,000 in the Nutter tomorrow night. Or roughly 9x what there will be at the Joe.
Great work, Commissioner Lecrone and H League ADs!!! And please, take some extra garlic bread with your free pizzas!

I LOVE it!!! Not that Hack, Fran, Spirit of Bruce, FTA, 97, JHart or any of the rest of you didn't see this coming from 10,000 miles away.
Now we'll witness the indignity of the league's marquee event being waged on national TV in front of more ushers than fans on a Tuesday night in DETROIT.
Incredible!!!

Come on guys, Green Bay is driving a bus full of students to Detroit today. That will increase the attendance by like 5%. I'm wondering if they will get their band and cheerleaders down there to replace the high school kids. I'll keep an eye out...stay tuned.

That high school band that the league imported and provided Phoenix shirts to was literally the best part of the "fan experience." They were loud and fun. And they increased the actual attendance by 10%.
Btw, I would like to know if the HL is counting workers (ushers, etc.) in its attendance numbers. My guess is yes.

I personally love how they interviewed LeCrone and he seemed to think that this was all great. I have very little doubt in my mind that Valpo would have won yesterday if the games were at the ARC...but that does not matter anymore I guess.

Sure he did, but his reasons were wacky, such as when he said, "This enhances the student-athlete experience."
Four or five days in Detroit and competing at The Joe in front of vendors, ushers and support staff?
How do the players deserve THAT?

I wonder how many Packers related songs will be part of GB's "pep rally"?

I saw one lonely scalper in the crumbling tunnel leading to the Joe. I almost stopped to give him 10 bucks just because.
