Expecting this game to put me in a really good mood only for the Packers to kill it shortly after. But let's go Panthers!!!

66-38 at half. Judson is actually so bad I'm convinced a few of Marquette's buy-win opponents could beat them!

Dominating 1st half as expected.
Everyone should get some in game action today.

This is the problem with Judson at the Klotsche: there's no buzz.
It's hard enough to build any momentum.

Judson threw up shots very quickly from outside. Also, they only had a couple remotely tall guys so Springs, Tiby and Panoske pretty much had their way inside. I'm watching the replay on ESPN3 right now.

Great to see the bench guys get some solid minutes.

JR Lyle right foot was in a walking boot. Anyone know what happened or what his status is?

Judson had some guys who could hit threes (one in particular hit 7 threes and never touched the rim on his makes). Other than that, nothing. Panthers didn't really plan the game to run -- there were just repeated opportunities to score early and pretty easily. Total overmatch. This is what happens in an era when alleged high majors are afraid to play you on your home floor. Heard today about another high major (let's just say they were far more recently national champs than our pet trolls' team was) that initially agreed to play us at the Panther Arena, took a closer look at our team and backed out -- making no bones about why they backed out.
There are a couple ways to address this but maybe only one way to fix it: expand the tournament to include every team in D1, or at least every team with a .500 conference record or better. That would largely eliminate the terror that seizes high major coaches when they think about playing mid-major opponents on the road because of their fear of not making the tourney.

JR tweaked it in practice. Back for SD or certainly Minny.

JJ with a career high 22 pts.
Most Panthers points since 2004.
