If you were expecting anything of substance, you were sorely mistaken. You can tell Bill's entire preparation for the interview was "Pick a new player to ask about," "Pick a high-major game to ask about," "Act like we're buddies for a second," and "Mention APR ban."
That's all you can get out of a five-minute drive by. If this were a weekly five-minute segment - and let's be honest, Bill could do a weekly 15-minute segment and not lose one listener - he would be able to do so much more and seem so much more informed - because he is.
The thing that really chapped my ass was the "We gotta go out sometime this year" line. Just to throw in there that they're buddies, to give the false sense that Bill Michaels has his fingers on everything sports in Wisconsin.
