Our program was put on tournament probation last year because we HONESTLY reported our academic situation -- and received no quarter from the NCAA despite the fact it was largely a procedural problem. Does anyone here want to volunteer to hold their breath until the NCAA does ANYTHING to Louisville and Pitino, or to Carolina and Williams, or to programs that cover up their players' sexual assaults of other students?

P.S. One of the worst things about this story is how the network talking heads are closing ranks around Rick Pitino. "He couldn't have known." What a crock -- and what difference does it make anyway? What they really mean is "he's one of us."
