Hopefully this tournament birth and the extra revenue and publicity it will draw will allow our athletic department to stop cutting costs and start building. I have heard a good amount of the bad stuff. I really don't want to believe it but its hard to ignore it when you are hearing the same thing from many different sources. Lets all just hope that this ticket to the dance will start to change things for the better.

how this AD has tried to undermine this program throughout the season. Trust me ....no idea. You mean the AD who moved us back to the Cell? I had no idea that undermined the program. |

#15's don't often beat #2 seeds. The HLT Championship (heck, the Green Bay HLT win) was my Midwestern Championship.
I would love to see Milwaukee advance. But I think we will have to play another "Next-Level" type game- hopefully GAMES.
Butler did it 2x (Mid-Major Runner Up- last-second loss to Duke and the following season a very ugly loss to Connecticut..). Why can't we do tha dang 1x? I think this Milwaukee team has caught fire at the perfect moment. 2nd Round? Good Gosh! Sweet 16??? I couldn't even fathom that. One. Game. At. A time. I just hope we battle whatever elite high major we play and put on a good show.... and of course.... I hope we ultimately WIN. Even if it's a 50/50 chance. This team is peaking at the perfect time....
Milwaukee over Kansas/Arizona/Duke/Florida....? Huge challenge. But I like our chances. Milwaukee Panther Tracks- Panther Trackin' on.....

this is a gift from the basketball gods. another run to the sweet 16 would be nuts, it also would be much harder coming from a 14-15 spot than from a 12 or 11 spot. i'm hoping we can climb to a 14 seed.

Got rid of it February 7th, the day before Milwaukee won at GB in the regular season. Still thinks it's best to part ways based on some of the stuff that's finally being alluded to by Indiana81. |

Here's the thing, any coach in any program in the country will always see needs that aren't being met and/or have a list of things they'd like to have. At UWM, to be successful our coaches have to make a lot out of a little.
