A Badger fan friend texted me last night after the game: "Jordan Aaron is amazing, incredible!"
Jay-O is now 68 points shy of becoming the ninth player in the program's post-1990 history to score at least 500 points in a season, a feat accomplished previously by Von McDade (1990-91), Michael Hughes (1993-94), Shannon Smith (1994-95), Clay Tucker (2001-02, '02-03), Dylan Page (2002-03, '03-04), Ed McCants (2003-04, '04-05), Joah Tucker (2004-05, '05-06) and Ricky Franklin (2009-10).
With another 106 points, he would become the 26th player in program history (and 15th in Division 1) to reach the 1,000-point plateau for his career.

if he hadnt gotten suspended he would have reached both of those marks. unlikely he'll get to either, absent a sweet 16 run where he goes bonkers.

I've got several texts here that say, "Jordan Aaron is a BEAST."
With 18 points in the Horizon League tournament championship game (!!!), Jay-O is now 50 points shy of becoming the ninth player in the program's post-1990 history to score at least 500 points in a season, a feat previously accomplished by Von McDade (1990-91), Michael Hughes (1993-94), Shannon Smith (1994-95), Clay Tucker (2001-02, '02-03), Dylan Page (2002-03, '03-04), Ed McCants (2003-04, '04-05), Joah Tucker (2004-05, '05-06) and Ricky Franklin (2009-10).
With another 88 points, he would become the 26th player in program history (and 15th in Division 1) to reach the 1,000-point plateau for his career.
In terms of the single-season points, Jay-O could get that in a play-in game victory and then a second-round game.

If he doesn't quite make it, I say we put him on our list.
Give him his season average times those four B/S suspension games.

Just have him dump 50 on our first opponent and be done with it.
