Not even all the negativity on this board can ruin my excitement for a bonus home game. I'm concerned about playing at The Cell based on the poor record there this year, but hopefully the extra 2 days of rest can benefit us.
One game at a time from here on out... but I like 5 seed because I think we match up better against GB than Cleveland State IF it gets to that point.
Hopefully everyone will put their pessimism aside for one day and support these guys one last time.

already thinking about next year....hard to be optimistic, when the teams inconsistent play gives me doubts.

I also rather would play GB than CSU. Both are very talented but we would get run out of the gym by CSU. Of course, to get to the tourney we'd have to likely beat both on the roaf, so maybe playing CSU on a neutral court would be better.

I look forward to another game at the Cell! It's a long 8 months for the next game in the Arena. Seeing other fellow Panther fans and the beer vendors are very nice & funny people.

I ment every word, but I'm a Panther fan win or lose, Jeter or no Jeter, until I die!

With Green Bay beating Detroit today Milwaukee is now officially the #5 seed.
The Oakland @ Youngstown State game will decide the final pairings.
If Oakland wins we will host Youngstown State.
If Youngstown State wins we will host Detroit.

If Youngstown State wins we will host Detroit. Actually, it sounds like we are officially playing Detroit on Tuesday. Per Bill Potter's last tweet, it's the following: (9) UIC at (4) Valpo (8) Detroit at (5) Milwaukee & Youngstown State/Oakland play at the venue of whoever wins tonight's game If Milwaukee wins, they'll play the winner of UIC/Valpo. Then that winner plays Green Bay in the semis.

Then that winner plays Green Bay in the semis. Why would that be? We beat Oakland or YSU in a tie-breaker so we are the #5. Oakland beats Detroit in a tiebreaker so if YSU wins then Detroit would fall to #8 and play us. However, Detroit should beat YSU in a tie-breaker because they split the season series but Detroit has the best conference win (Valpo) while YSU was swept. Based on the tiebreakers that should leave Detroit the #7 seed and bump YSU to the #8 where they would play us.

Kevin O'Conner said Detroit at the Cell at 6pm as the 8 seed. Yep I just rechecked. YSU wins the tiebreaker over Detroit for best win because they beat Cleveland State. Sweet, we have our opponent set in stone.

So we finished with the 5 seed when we were predicted to be 9th before the season started. I would consider that a success, although I'm sure many on here wouldn't considering some of the margins we lost by (particularly at home). Detroit won't be an easy matchup, especially if Juwan Howard Jr. gets hot early. We'll have a different lineup going against them too with Aaron in place of Lyle. Tough one to predict for me. But truthfully, I wouldn't feel overly confident with any of the teams right now since there's such a huge question mark with this team.
The good news is we have the ability to beat anyone in our conference. The bad news is we may need 20+ points from Jay-O in every game to do it. My expectations are realistic, so I'm just going to take it game by game and enjoy the ride as long as it lasts.
