Will be listening on the radio. Will there be a Panther Post Game Party segment following? Wonder where that will be held. Oh yeah, maybe at the little c***tail tables sitting out in the middle of nowhere behind the bleachers. Oops, forgot..probably what they had last year ...a lounge in the Pavillion...probably now named the Andy Geiger Memorial lounge complete with a couple couches, chairs and a cooler full of soda...

Playing at the KC kind of an ode to Andy's rationale behind the one year thankfully one year debacle at the Kc albeit a lot of money thrown down the drain on both is salary and the so called unsustainable KC improvements....." we are a pull out bleacher shcool"...thanks for the memories Andy NOT

Ha Ha!!! Actually, maybe the KC would be a good venue for the monster truck stuff!! Could help reduce the extra strain on the deficity caused by last years move back to the KC, resulting plunge in season ticket sales and overall support and the $215,000 paid to Andy for zero return...

Speaking of that maybe we can utilize the proposed new Franklin minor league park if not Kapco...sad...at some point if we don't finally move on this and get a decent facility will Doffek get fed up and leave finally for greener pastures as San Felippo did?

Myself, 1 other die hard Milwaukee fan and another "almost" die-hard fan had a conversation with then "AD Geiger" in 2012.
They can refute my observation from that meeting. But what we were paid back from our recommendations was simply lip-service. We came there to address serious branding, student/general Milw. fan engagement, facilities issues.
And we were quite frankly- treated like SH**. I appreciate what Mr. Geiger did for all of his other schools- but he did nothing for UWM. In fact he brought Milwaukee down more than a couple pegs. Odd happenstance.... I thought someone of his stature and experience would have taken his interim AD job ($200,000/yr) a bit more seriously. But no. He cut us off at every turn. Ignored our suggestions and essentially told us "I DON'T CARE ABOUT YOU- I AM RIDING OUT INTO MY RETIREMENT SUNSET... Good LUCK UWM!!!"
That my friends- is f'd up. Sorry if I ruffled any feathers, but what I speak is the truth and I don't pull punches.
GO PANTHERS!!!! (despite your lack of support from the University). Hate me all you want, but I call it like it is.

I do know what he did at MD and OSU, when I lived in those communities. But, I agree that what he did in other places is not germane to what he did here. I am attempting to stay out of discussions about Jeter also. But, I will be in front of the TV tomorrow rooting hard for the Panthers, and hoping that "We" stop the losing streak. |
