Just got a ROKU, and have spent a few days trying to figure out how i can watch UWM games and other sporting events: So far here is what i have been able to find. WatchESPN - Great for ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, ESPNNEWS and ESPN3 programming. Any game not on there, i was able to find a private channel called Playon.tv. I purchased a month to start ($8) ($40 for year), but with the Playon.tv installed on my PC/server i am able to install scripts that expose other live streaming channels. Has alot of channels to begin with, but the extra scripts are my favorite part. Play On TVIm a big fan of firstrowsport.eu and was happy to find they had a script that exposed this as a Playon.tv channel available on my ROKU First row sports. I also stumbled upon a Playon.tv script for the Horizon League. I am happy to say it works, and i am able to watch it through the ROKU on my TV rather then only on my PC or IPAD. Horizon LeagueIf any one else has a ROKU and has other suggestions, let me know, but i wanted to share my excitement/findings, as i have officially gone cable free and have more access to sports on my TV now then when i did have cable, and without the monthly bill.

How does chromecast actually work? Does it mirror items from your mobile device?

It's kinda of cool. The ad's dont show it, but it needs to be plugged in. Nice feature tho is that you can run it back to your TV's USB Input and power it that way.
Once setup on the TV with the Wi-Fi, I had to download and app on my phone and an extension for my Chrome browser.
Then as long as they are on the Wi-Fi and the app on your phone has the Chromecast feature (Hulu/Netflix/Photos/YouTube ect do) you can show it on screen, it does not mirror the phone.
As for the PC, it mirrors the TAB you turn it on for, so you can Tab to the game, and open a second tab on your PC for facebook with out losing the game on the TV.
Worth the $35 bucks.
