Can't express how happy I am for Kyle after all the adversity he experienced a year ago. I like his hair!

I am proud of this team. Coach Jeter's best coaching to date.

It says a lot than Matt Tiby could have a terrible game and we could win by 13 on the road. We're in the top 90 in free throw percentage by the way (72.9%), 68th nationally in free throw rate, and assisting on over 50% of our baskets.

And just for kicks, we've scored 44 points or more in the second half of 4 of 5 games. The only time we've been outscored in the final 20 minutes was when we let Loyola score 48 for some reason.

"Just do the ordinary is what we always tell the guys, just do the basic stuff, especially when you're down like that," Jeter said. "I thought we were getting a little rushed. Let's take a few more seconds and get patient and then get good looks and break it down slowly. And these guys listened."
"These guys persevered and I'm very proud of this team," Jeter said. "We've been talking a lot about how we have a lot of new faces and we need some leadership, and I thought we saw leadership from the entire group tonight."

Even thought it was dissapointing some of our big guys were handcuffed by foul trouble, I'm thinking it may be a blessing in disguise, allowing Tiby and JJ in particular get to have some light minutes and rest up for Tuesday night.
