I do like the donation requirement needed for the best seats. Braun had said from the beginning that fundraising was lacking and this is an obvious solution.
Damn its going to be nice being back at the Cell.

There is never a bad time to become a Panther men's basketball season ticket holder, and reservations for the 2013-14 - BACK AT THE U.S. CELLULAR ARENA - are now being taken. Current season ticket holders should act quickly to keep their same seats or upgrade to a better location, while new customers can secure great pricing. Full information on ticket pricing and seating information for games at The Cell is now available. Group packages, special deals and single-game tickets will be available his fall. For more information, call the ticket office at 414-229-5886 or click on the links to the right for more information. grfx.cstv.com/photos/schools/wiml/sports/m-baskbl/auto_pdf/2013-14/misc_non_event/mbbseasontix1314.pdf

Quote Post by blackcatinorange on Aug 3, 2013 at 4:01pm I think its great idea!! I had no problems cutting a check for the extra $250. I mailed my season ticket order form a day after I received it. It's a fantastic university, and I think its a good idea to give back something to a place I love. I also believe that Amanda Braun will take Milwaukee's athletic program to the next level. The move back to the Cell was a start, and I hope a new baseball facility is in Milwaukee's near future. With that said, I expect to get the same seats that I've had for the last 13 years.....especially since I stuck with the program last year and continued to be a season ticket holder at the KC. Loyalty better be worth something! Two of my triplets will also attend Milwaukee in the fall and they can't wait to start college. With the right leadership and $$$$ generated from donations, both big and small, UWM will continue to be an institution of academic and athletic excellence. I'm happy to donate to the Panther Excellence Fund! Last Edit: Aug 3, 2013 at 4:02pm by blackcatinorange

Me Too!!! Just mailed in my season ticket renewals and more than happy to pay the Excellence Fed!!! Can't wais for the reason to start and nice schedule shaping up. All is good. If the team looks better this year that is going to be a huge help. Lets think long term. Brighter days ahead and we have a solid new AD on board that should be here for a while. Steve

Good stuff guys! Keep it coming!
I see no problem at all with the $250 & $100 donation per account. I wonder how the $500 donation will go for the courtside seats. Plus, there are great deals in good locations of the Cell for the people who can't pay that amount in the $175 & $75 sections and for the last year the 2 for $99 deal.

I paid my account in full last week. The ticket office is giving me my seats from the 2011-12 season at the Cell. I called in and they take two payments. One for my seats and the other for the Panther Fund. Very easy!!
The open house is a great idea. Let's hope many fans up-grade to better seats!

The open house will run from 11 a.m.-7 p.m. and will provide returning fans with a chance to reserve the same seats they held downtown in 2011-12 or pick an upgraded seat location. New ticket holders are also invited to get an idea of what seats are available and place a deposit on tickets for the coming season.
Popcorn and soda will be available to fans who stop by throughout the day. Plus, the open house coincides with the historic MECCA basketball floor being put on display for a special fundraising event.
Returning fans have until Fri., Sept. 13 to purchase the same seats they had in 2011-12, with all fans buying season tickets by that date earning entry into the Panther Season Ticket Holder Sweepstakes.
Season ticket prices start at $75, with new season ticket holders able to purchase a package of two seats for $99. Special pricing is also available to alumni.
If you have any questions, please contact the Panther Ticket Office at 414-229-5886
