GREAT JOB ONCE AGAIN!!!!! These guys represent UWM extremely well and deserve more support in the form of a decent facility to play. Does the HL have an automatic NCAA bid at this point if the Panthers win the HL tourney given the current 5 team make-up under the minimum? Thought I heard they got a waiver for this year but not sure ... if we do get an NCAA bid hope the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel gives us more than one sentence in the "college baseball" box on page whatever....ie, see the big writeup and photo for womens softball championship at Wisconsin....nothing against that but so typical..only D 1 mens baseball in Wisconsin and big coverge for softball at Madison but one sentence for winning HL conference ....the beat goes on

From what I know they still have an Auto-Bid, I think you get 2 years before they take it away

And there will be one next year when Oakland joins the conference and we're back to 6.

I really want this team to have a facility on or near North Ave. Getting ahead of myself, I know, but the Panther baseball and soccer teams really are unsung treasures that deserve a sh*t-ton more exposure than they get.

People like that tend to still be living in 1965, and thus, major college athletics in Wisconsin begins and ends with the Badgers and occasionally Marquette, so that's who the J-S covers. Granted, you could argue that giving Milwaukee fans... which skew younger by virtue of us only having two decades of "big time" athletics experience... what we want might give them an in-road to a younger demographic, but that's why the Urinal-Sentinel is the Urinal-Sentinel.
