So, I know we discuss the Facilities issues in great length. Maybe we should get the AD to start up a project on Kickstarter.
I mean is Zach Braff can raise 2 mil for a project, dont you think we could? This way too, we can all say we donated to the project.
Also, I can just think of the publicity is would get, I don't a University has ever thought to do that, so it could be really cool.
Ideas on a Friday Morning.

I think that's a very good idea. If it raises 10k, its better than nothing. As someone familiar with kickstarter, I think something like this could do very well.

I'm not familiar with Kickstarter, someone I'm sure can answer this. What portion does Kickstarter keep?
Are we better off investing with a company like Row 27 or Old Hat Creative and having them build us an athletics donation page and requesting online donations through those portals?
Just a few thoughts. I am all for raising money and supporting our program. Just adding to the discussion.

Sounds like a great idea, I came across this kickstarter yesterday. If you liked the show Three Sheets or Drinking Made Easy, you'll love this one.

Kickstarter Cannot be used to "build something." Kick starter has certain limitations of which raising money for a facilities project falls outside the lines.
