Having seen many women's basketball games this season, I can tell you something: Traci Edwards is more dominating than Maria Viall was...AS A FRESHMAN. Edwards has had one of the best freshman seasons in the country, and she is taking no prisoners.
She is on pace to break or come close to several school records, with 2 regular season games to go, and at least one post-season game.
Field Goal % - At 59.1%, best on team SCHOOL RECORD - 54.2% Maria Viall
Points - 393, 1st team SCHOOL RECORD - 1,867 Maria Viall...behind the pace of 466.75 points/season to tie Viall.
Rebounds - 259, on pace for 1,036 SCHOOL RECORD - 971 Maria Viall
Free Throws Made - 113, 1st team, on pace for 452 SCHOOL RECORD - 390 Maria Viall
These are big time records, and she has a chance to smash them all. If there was a reason to see Lady Panther basketball this year, it is to be able to say "I saw Traci Edwards play as a freshman."

Good research! Hmmm, is this a potential Post article?
I saw Traci Edwards play when she was a freshman.

I went to high school with Traci Edwards, she was two years younger than me. I am shocked to be honest with you; she was unbelievably lazy in high school. But I am glad she is doing well here.

I saw Traci Edwards as a freshman and I'm looking forward to seeing her in the HL tourney at the Klotsche!

I don't wanna get too excited yet. Let's make sure that sophomore slump doesn't get her.
