How much does it cost us to send the team, cheerleaders, administrators, etc to Green Bay for this game? $2,000? $5,000? No matter the cost, might I suggest we forfeit the game, save the funds and take them to Potowatomi and see if we can get on roll at the craps table? Who knows? A hot shooter or two and we could turn $5,000 into $50,000 and be that much closer to solving our financial woes. Worst case scenario is the season is over and we're flat broke - the same situation as we are going to face on Wednesday anyway. Who's with me? I'm absolutely not! Despite my previous prediction of an epic run to the NCAA followed by a 16-1 upset of Indiana, I would still be willing to back Lou's Poto plan, only substituting high stakes slots over craps. Sure we have a much better chance of going broke, but what's 50k one time going to do for us? Pay Jeter's expense budget? If we hit the right progressive jackpot we could make some moves.

Miss Rhode Island is scheduled to perform tonight's National Anthem ... and I can't make it.

I guess they are saving some cash because the cheerleaders and the band will not be going.

It would be great if the Panthers could shock the HL world and end Green Bay's season.

Well we're not getting blown out...
Yet at least.

I see we're blowing the doors off offensively again. Thank God this garbage ends tonight. I would hope our new AD is bothered by this joke of a season.

True freshman Jordan Fouse filling up the stat sheet for GB: 9 points, 6 rebounds, 2 steals and a block. Good thing we gave him token attention in his recruiting process.

Paris has to be the worst passer since Shannon Smith. This season was lost when he decided to be our leading scorer by leading the team in shot attempts.

Fittingly, a 10 - 2 GB run to start the second half.

And with that this miserable season has come to an end.
I can only hope that is the last time Jeter leaves the court as the Panthers head coach.

No need to worry. All that matters is the HL tourney. Oh wait... it started already?? Damn.
Sucks to see the season end, especially at the hands of GB, but at least the suffering is over. Regardless of the sloppy play and disappointing venue all season, I'm sad to see it end. Things will get better and this team will be back to where they should be (insert "Not until Jeter is gone" comment here). Thanks to all the seniors, and I'm excited to see how JJ, Austin, Evan, Jordan and everyone else responds next year. Keep your heads up. It's just a game, albeit one that a lot of us take seriously, and the important thing is that we stay passionate about a team that needs our support.
Go Panthers.

Losses by 20, 17, and 16 in one season to your rival uwgb.
Way to go coach.
