That's Todd Gak. Hate to be a stickler. Hope you won't take it like Steve Gendeson on the golf course and go kill a dry-cleaner named Pincus. However, if you do, I'll drive the Bronco... Haha Actually, it's Todd Gack. But then the reference wouldn't work. I think it's Dutch.

Perhaps this team and coaching staff just really wants to change their names to the Ground Hogs? It's a pretty convincing campaign.

Do we at least get a higher draft pick next year if we keep losing?

Would that make them come out guns blazing in the second? BTW, we are 338th in field goal percentage in division 1. I would bet we are dead last in 2nd half FGP.

Do we at least get a higher draft pick next year if we keep losing? Nope, we get a case of Yoohoo, a truck full of muffin stumps, a big salad, several boxes of chinese gum, and an umbrella. Don't spin the Umbrella too fast, or you will disorient the 1,100 fans who are going to make it out to the Klotsche to see us get bullied by Detroit on the 7th, following another 2nd half collapse @ Valpo.

Do we at least get a higher draft pick next year if we keep losing? Nope, we just get the highest paid, yet worst coach in the League!

Well, the Panthers have been outscored by a combined 124-66 in the second half of their last three games.
If it was strictly a talent issue, the team would get outplayed from the start.
Seriously, why does the team -- and its coaches -- go to the locker room at halftime?

Seriously, why does the team -- and its coaches -- go to the locker room at halftime? Its tradition. If our fans did do that bags on the head trick, it should be reserved for the start of the 2nd half. Or maybe Jeter's riveting presser.

I am petitioning the league to go a full 40 with no breaks other than timeouts...

Watching the game Wednesday night, we weren't playing particularly well in the first half. Loyola was playing down to us, we weren't playing up to them. In the second half, Loyola started playing better at the Panthers didn't.
I'm sure part of the reason we have struggled in the second half of games (at least coming into Wednesday night) was that we were playing with a 7 man rotation. Gulley and Aaron were playing 40 minutes every night and Haggerty, Harris, Panoske, and Arians are playing way more than they had ever played in the past. On Wednesday, I saw Roelke, Richard, and Kelm got some playing time. But Gulley and Aaron have to be getting exhausted from playing nearly all game every season. Evan Richard has been terrible, Mitch Roelke seems like a good teammate but his defense and ball control are lacking, and Bobo Niang has been out for a while (and with the end of the season coming, I'm guessing he's not coming back at all this year).
Perhaps that will be the source of some improvement next year; Gulley will be gone, but we'll still have Aaron and Niang along with McWhorter, Trinson White, and maybe Cody Wichmann. Still, it seems like an annual tradition for Jeter to lose 3-4 players, so we'll probably be in for just as long a year next year.
