In all seriousness, this will be interesting in the sense that NIU has already played three Horizon opponents, and lost each game. I'm not sure that we need a measuring stick at this point since it's pretty clear where we're at, but we're going to get one regardless.
All I want to see is some desire --- along with a sense of urgency that should have showed up about three or four games ago. Hopefully this team can tip toe over a bar that's nearly laying on the floor.

They're going to cover the spread tonight.

This team is better than 1-6. They're going to cover the spread tonight. The personnel on this team warrants a better record than 1-6 ... and I can't believe that the spread on this game is 12 points. Have the oddsmakers not been paying attention at all? |

If this team doesn't come out and at least put forth an acceptable effort - regardless of a win or a loss - in light of the debacle from the other night, Jeter may as well resign after the game. Otherwise, what's the point?

Halftime. 9 pt lead. Effort is better. Some sloppy ball handling. +7 assists +9 rebounds. We should win this by 15-20 if we can keep it up. I just want to see them continue to build on this progress. No letdowns.
