Tailgating at KC/Tailgating for Basketball Games?

Hey. So now that games are being held at the KC is tailgating going to be allowed? Just wondering.

Yes and no. Good news is the AD wants to throw some (maybe many) tailgate parties for students before games. If it's too cold out, they're looking into possibly hosting these parties indoors behind the bleachers on the side closest to the student entrance. However, on games when they're not hosting a tailgate, I want to say we will still be able to, but that's not for certain. You won't be able to do it near the Pavilion, so my guess would be we can tailgate ourselves between Norris and the Klotsche. I will have more for sure answer on that this week sometime. I'll advise you now... UWM Police will be making rounds outside the Klotsche before games and open beer/liquor will be severely frowned upon in a "tailgate" setting because there will be no alcohol available for students to purchase at games. At least that's what I've heard so far.
