Just got word that season-tickets sale are going well! Still, lots of work to be done to reach their goal. They are going to call local area alummi who don't have tickets and try to bring some of those people on board to Panther basketball.

They are going to call local area alummi who don't have tickets and try to bring some of those people on board to Panther basketball. Due to being a first-time homebuyer with MANY more expenses now than before (on top of some other things), I have yet to renew my season tickets. I had pretty good seats at the Cell, but I'm not sure $500 on 2 tickets is the smartest thing for me to spend my money on at the moment. The 2 for $99 may have to suffice this season... That being said, I'm surprised that I haven't heard from anyone in the ticket office yet regarding why I haven't renewed my tickets. Before they start calling local alum who haven't purchased tickets before, you would think they would target those who haven't renewed. In any event, I'll probably give Brian a call this week. I just found it surprising that I hadn't heard anything from him yet. Other than that, I strongly believe he is one of the best customer service guys out there.

They have told me that they call ticket holders from last year and see if they are buying tickets for 2012-13. Maybe something happened with your new address or maybe you new number? Glad to hear that you are still buying tickets!! Brian and his staff is great!!

Wow, either there's a mistake or they switched everything up. "Visitor Bench" is where the UWM bench has always been, and regardless the band is now on the other side. (AKA where it used to be.)

So, the letter came out weeks ago in where our seats are. I would guess most are happy in what seats they got?

Season ticket sales are going pretty well considering the venue change. Some people have cited the move in not renewing, but others have indicated they are renewing in part because they are excited about the move. I don't know if it's a wash, but it's not really driving the issue. Frankly the much bigger factor in season ticket sales, historically and this year, is that there are no home games against UW or MU.
But if you are interested in Premium seats, don't wait too long.
Also heard this morning that there will be concession tents in three corners of the Klotsche with some pretty good food choices. The old concession counters in the hallway will be closed, which will improve the traffic flow significantly. In addition, there will be new scoreboards, new video boards, courtside LED boards, new basketball standards and some basic aesthetic improvements, particularly in the entrance area and the restrooms. We all know that there's only so much you can do with the Klotsche, but it's going to be a better college basketball environment than it ever has been before, and there will be a much better sense when you walk in that this is the home of the Milwaukee Panthers.
Because so many things have had to be done (and still need to be done) in so short a time, however, it is unlikely everything will be in place or operational for either the Parkside or Mary games. The Davidson game is the hoped for target for a kind of "grand" opening. Among the very time consuming things that need to be done, all the new electronics need very significant new wiring in the Klotsche. Most of that can't happen until the boards are delivered, and they won't be delivered for a while. And with data capable boards, an enormous amount of programming work is necessary too. They have hired a programmer and are already at work on that.
On another topic, I saw the new uniforms yesterday and they look really good. I especially liked the white Unis. The team likes them a lot.
Can't wait for the season to start and to see the team in action. The team had a tremendous off-season for strength and endurance development, and for those wondering about his health, Evan Richard won the King of the Hill award.
