Yeah but the value of the 2 for $99 has plummeted noticeably considering you know get nothing more than bleacher seats. Luckily sneaking into the black area shouldn't be difficult. Should have read the PantherU article. They are likely going to upgrade those benches in some way, likely with a temporary chairback for season-ticket seats. If they don't, I'm buying my own and putting it on my seat. It said in the letter that they are adding 300 chairbacks on that side. Those would be for the $175 area. 2 for $99 is the greatest deal in the world!! Your talking $3.30 per seat/game.

As I understand it, you can peruse the seats but only request preferred sections or areas. No one will know what they've been awarded until September when they are mailed out. Can you please read the letter. "We have scheduled Klotshe Center open house dates for August 23, 24 & 26, allowing you to come in and pick your seats for the 2012-13 season. I have already purchased mine by calling the ticket office. That is what they told me. You can pick them out all you want, doesn't mean you're going to get what you request. Everyone is going to choose front and center at the open house. They're awarding them by length of time you've owned them. Meaning, the guy who has owned them the longest will get first pick. Not the first guy who shows up.

I did call the ticket office and it's where you will make 3 picks at the open house in what area you would like to sit in. Example- Section-C, $225 Gold, middle of the row.

Literally. 2 for $99 is the greatest deal in the world!! Your talking $3.30 per seat/game. Monetarily yes but damn one will probably be uncomfortable as hell sitting in them.

Yes, there is now 1,000 bleachers at the KC. Yes, it's uncomfortable. It doesn't stop 80,000+ people to go to Camp Randall or 70,000+ to go to Lambeau Field.

Heck, college football is about 3 1/2 hours long and the way the NFL is going, those games are now 3 hours+. The 2 for $99 deal is a great!! I was shocked when I was told that the Panthers ticket office was going to keep that deal at the 3,400 seat KC.

Good comparison especially since you're ignoring Lambeau & Camp Randall are dramatically better facilities than KC, the quality of opponent is better, the gameday atmosphere & experience is unquestionably better AND the product fans are watching is also notably better. Besides those little footnotes you're spot on! Oh and season ticket holders can get seatbacks at CR too so not exactly an apples to apples comparison.

If I had to guess, they mean its general admission but you should really call to clarify. I think outside of different fundraising events and info on the Panther Club, you don't receive a whole lot besides the tickets. I believe you'll get a letter confirming the purchase.

Never said it was apples vs. apples, that's why the Panthers do 2 seats for $99 and Badger football and the Packers don't. It was pretty clear I was just talking about sitting in bleacher seats, not going into everything else like you are. Some people act like they never sat on bleacher seats before. Panther fans can bring in chairbacks with them for those bleacher seats. Plus, they are adding 300 chairback seats, that will help the cause. Finally, the gameday experience will be way better at the KC this season with the upgrades. New scoreboard will help alot!!!

I went to the open house last night. Lots of warts on the KC, but I'll say this: If we pack that place, it will definitely be an intense atmosphere. I just hope the team is exciting to watch. There wont be any beer to help make me feel better about a mediocre product on the floor.

After considerable consultation with those in and around the athletics department, we've arrived at the following mantra for the coming year:
"The 2012-13 Milwaukee Panthers: let's make the best of it."
