I must say, kudos to you Jimmy for being on top of the situation. You've done a nice job since your recent PantherU switch.

They must have looked at the stats page at uwmpanthers.com, which lists JaRob McCallum as averaging 10.0 ppg...although it does say in six games for the year.

Hope I'm wrong, but I don't see a win. Long travel against a team that does very well at home. Like every other game, it all will come down to health, ability to create open 3's, and defending to our full capabilities.

Keys for Milwaukee coming out of the Metroplex with a W
Don't allow any easy looks -- The Horned Frogs shoot respectably (43%) but allow their opponents to shoot 47%. The Panthers and their opponents both shoot under 42%. Their 3-point shooting is at 36% to our 35%, but makes up 23% of their shots taken (to our 30%).
Smart Ball-movement -- Both teams turned it over more than they completed an assist, but TCU had 5 more TOs all year to the Panthers 41.
Make more FTs than they take -- We've heard this one before, TCU's 69% isn't world-beating, but it trumps the Panthers' 61%.

From the Sporting News College Basketball Yearbook (more at yearbooks@sportingnews.com):
TCU (11-22, 1-15) was the preseason No. 7 (out of 8) pick in the Mountain West Conference. Jim Christian entered his fourth season with the Horned Frogs at 38-58.
Hank Thorns (5-foot-9, 165) is a fun player to watch, and he may be the only reason to come to Daniel-Meyer Coliseum in TCU's final year in the Mountain West.
The Horned Frogs may be among the best in the nation in football, but it when it comes to hoops this program has struggled to gain a foothold in the MWC ... and there's little indication that Jim Christian is about to conduct any kind of turnaround.
...
Thorns, former Virginia Tech guard, will likely be the top Frog. He averaged 10.7 points per game last year and his 7.0 assists per game led the MWC. Junior forward Garlon Green had a real nice sophomore campaign, averaging 11.2 points and 4.6 rebounds. The 6-7 forward started 32 of 33 games and posted 29.4 minutes per game, proving he is durable in addition to being reliable.
Senior J.R. Cadot is an excellent rebounder, having grabbed a team-best 6.0 boards per contest last year. The problem is that Cadot is a 6-5 guard, and no guard should be his team's premier rebounder. To address that, Christian signed 6-8 junior college transfer Adrick McKinney and 6-9 prep schooler Ryan Rhoomes in the hope that they can give TCU some scoring and rebounding.
Christian delivered two more JUCO players in 6-6 guard Nathaniel Butler and 6-7 forward Connell Crossland, who were teammates at John A. Logan (Ill.) Community College last season.
With TCU heading to the Big East next year, Christian needs to start building toward the move. It will be a quantum leap forward in 2012-13, so he's hoping that the heavy influx of JUCOs this year will lay the foundation to be competitive in arguably college basketball's toughest league.
If the Horned Frogs can show any kind of progress this year, so much the better.

The Horned Frogs drew 76,812 fans this season in 16 home dates, an average of 4801 fans per game. That's about 500 off the national average and about 900 more than Milwaukee averaged.
It will be interesting to see what TCU gets on Tuesday.

Milwaukee is No. 124 on realtimerpi and TCU is No. 112.
The Panthers have finished outside of the RPI top 150 only twice since 1999-2000.
