Seriously guys, the attitudes are pretty funny. Like I did not know that we went to the tourney in 06, we beat OK..... And guess what, all Pearl guys... Another Jacko is talking about branding.... Dude, make the tourney and branding takes care of itself. 20 wins and no tourney is nothing to do backflips over. We lost to UW by........ Key word is lost. I am a diehard Panther fan, but I will call like I see it. With Jeter we will never get over the hump. I would hope Steven is paid more than Jeter, he was runner up the last 2 freakin yrs. Jeter lost to Northwestern in the NIT first round las year, and the year before nothing.... Nuff said. When you guys on this board are cool with being okay and 4th in the Horizon, then the school is okay with it to.. I am not. Nobody should be fine with no Tourney since 06. And we wonder why we are always second fiddle... Well, I am tired of it... No more excuses, just get it done.

I'd hate to break it to you but the amount of success that'd need to be achieved in order to be seen on the same level as the Badgers and MU is completely unrealistic. Get that little pipe dream out of your head now b/c that'll NEVER happen. No more excuses, just get it done. Unless he leaves on his own, he's here until at least 2015. If you don't like it, win the Mega Millions lottery tonight. |

No need to buyout the contract at any time, he is here through the 2015-2016 season.
And if we do not get to the NCAA tourney in that time, no need to ask for community support for a new arena, because there will be no community support. The public at large really doesn't care about this program, because there is nothing to get them excited.

This doesn't relate directly to Jeter and probably could go in another thread. Why does it appear that UWM suffers through more injuries and illness than any other team in the league? It may not actually be true, but it seems we do. With the injuries and illness this team has had over the years, maybe the first thing Jeter needs to do this off season is revisit the conditioning and health programs used by his players. |

Are some of you that dense? I never said I expect UW or MU.... However, no trips to the tourney when we are pretty good is just frustrating. Some of you I swear have a man crush on Rob Jeter.... Dude walks on water... And I am sick of all the excuses that get put on this board.... Meier was sick, who gives a S***? Go out there and play inspired ball, not get blown out by 21 points. I can root,cheer, and love a team but be critical sometimes. I think if you look at some of my older posts there plenty of praise also. I said before that Jeter is a decent coach, he will just never win anything meaningful. Only when he had Bruce's boys..... And as another post said, we don't win forget about an on campus arena... Why would a donor put money into this program right now?

Look Nick, you can b**** and moan and unnecessarily use ellipses in your posts all you want but like it or not Jeter's here until at least '15. If you want him gone sooner, find a way to buyout his contract because the athletic dept can't afford his and his staff's contracts as well as a new staff's simultaneously. To put it in your words - The Mega Millions drawing on Friday is $148M...I suggest you go buy a few tickets.
