First: "The Panthers are still shooting just 61.3 percent from the foul line but have made 98-of-134 (73.1 percent) from the line in their last six games."
It took far too long, but it's nice to see us coming back toward the mean a little bit. We need to keep up this much improved FT shooting in the HLT.
Second: "[T]he Panthers have had double-digit leads in the second half of three of their seven league losses."
This stat is not unrelated to the first one, of course, although turnovers were the real killer in losing those leads. Therein is why we are fighting for 3rd instead of fighting for 1st.
