Bruce Weber would not be an improvement over Rob. That's just my opinion.

Pearl was a fantastic coach and motivator, but it's been revealed what a sleaze bag he is. That's the sad truth.
If UWM wouldn't have run into the NCAA tournament final Butler Bulldogs, they would have been to the dance last year, and articles like this wouldn't exist.
Is Jeter the coach for this program? It's still debatable. One thing I know is how hard it would be to find a coach that's better than him that wants to come here.

Hear that drum beating while you read Ed's comments? That's the Bring Back Bruce drum. I have a feeling it may get louder... No that's the sound for an intervention. Keep walking towards that sound.

C'mon, give my Bulldogs a little credit.

C'mon, give my Bulldogs a little credit. That was sarcasm, bulldogger. I adopt the Bulldogs every March, it seems. This year, I would like for things to be different. Butler has been an outstanding flag-bearer for the Horizon League. BTW, Milwaukee and Butler are two of 50 programs across the nation to have won 19 or more games in each of the last three seasons. The list could conceivably grow as high as 60 (out of 345).

Rob Jeter may be a disciple of Bo Ryan, but he sure is heck is not Bo Ryan. Plain and simple. Bo is just one of those guys who always finds a way to win. He has the "it" factor. Jeter is a good coach, but will never win anything.

UWM once again did not. Always a bridesmaid. This thread obviously correlates with some of the other discussion about Jeter. The only reason why this is debatable is because we always seem to get so close, and then fall apart. But close is becoming unacceptable.

I think some people are failing to remember that the standards have been raised each year; for the first time, this season, we failed to finish better than the year before.
Let's take a CIT tournament run, use it as valuable learning-on-the-job time for players (I'm looking at Shaq, Demetrius, Evan), and move forward.

Some would say that this is where the clock starts ticking. So as a public service, I'll start the clock for them: Three (or four) years. Whatever the length of his contract is.

I have allies... Hence I am the real # 22. I am writing this to hopefully become the Dark knight of the program, put some fire under Jeter's Ass, and make it to the tourney... The point is to fix this so we do make the tourney!!! I don't want to be sitting at home come March... I wanna win and we still have a chance to make a historical run... Why wait till after the season? Cause I don't want the season to end! And Jordan was held back in college... you dont wanna hold players back...!!!! Ed (the real #22), Thank you very much for your presence on this board. You are truly one of the all-time greats in the history of the Milwaukee Panthers basketball program. I thoroughly enjoyed watching you play. Watching the one-two punch of you and Joah together was truly a thrill. The UWM Athletics Hall of Fame hasn’t inducted a member from the men’s basketball team since 2002. When they finally decide to stop ignoring men’s basketball you should definitely be one of the next players to be inducted as well as Clay and Joah Tucker. From what I’ve read it seems like you’re doing pretty well now. I’ve read some of your writings from a Northwestern blog. I’m happy to hear that you’re doing well. Keep it up! www.sippinonpurple.com/2011/10/6/2473398/ed-mccants-speaks-outAlso, do you still keep in touch with some of your Panther brethren?
