I know I saw Ryan Allen block Alec Brown's shot twice yesterday and I looked in the boxscore today and it says zero blocks for Allen, what gives UWGB sports info? Even the announcers talked about on TV (though he also called him 'Tony' most of the game). I didn't tape the game, so I can't go back and watch, but I believe Allen was robbed of some blocks on the 7-footer!
Have anything to do with Allen and Brown competing for HL Defensive POY?

It's B.S. Yes, I do believe it has everything to do with them competing for Defensive Player of the Year.
I posted this in the game thread:
Ryan Allen 0 blocks today. Z - E - R - O. Yeah, right.
Who is the "official" scorer up there? The jackass should be ashamed of himself.
That's ridiculous. He had at least two against Brown. Come on.
How can you have a homer keeping the official book for a game?
Ryan Allen should be League Defensive Player of the Year or they might as well stop giving out the award. I really hope someone in the athletic department is campaigning for him. Put together a highlight reel and send it to the league office. It would really be a shame if he doesn't get that recognition.
Someone in our Athletic Department should say something about it. Along with the number of assists Kaylon was credited with. I'm going to rewatch the game today and keep my own book. I'll let you all know what I count.

Just finished watching the game again and Ryan Allen definitely got snubbed of a few blocks. On my count, he had 2 blocks both on Alec Brown. Even the announcers were clamoring about his blocks...there is no way he should have been credited with none.

I agree, the two snubbed blocks was bull, how about the so called jump ball towards the end of the game that Ryan Allen clearly grabbed by himself and secured with both hands... And the magical whistle of the HL refs blew to signal the ball for GB which resulted in a 3 point play...now that's Bull sh$%!

I had Ryan Allen with three blocks in the game, two of them on Alec Brown. Not even a doubt.
Bill Johnson actually had a five-minute segment on the postgame show devoted to this.
If you can find it, it would be worth a listen.

So, it's clear that the blocks belonged to Ryan Allen and not Kyle Kelm and yet the box score remains unchanged.
Seeing as how statistics can certainly sway voters in awarding postseason honors and that Green Bay's Alec Brown is Ryan's primary competition for league Defensive Player of the Year, does anyone else see a conflict in this? Surely, the Green Bay SID can't be this incompetent.
What can be done about getting the game stats altered to reflect Ryan's rightful blocks?

I thought you had a good letter written up last night. Let go with that. Send it to our Athletic Department and the Horizon League Office. www.horizonleague.org/aboutus/staff-directory.htmlPost it here so we can all copy and email it. It's garbage and UW-Green Bay needs to be called out on it. Watching the replay there is no possible way you can mistake who the blocks should be credited to. The 5:22 and the 3:00 marks of the 2nd half.

With one more block, Ryan Allen will set the school record for blocked shots in a season (37) held by Eugene Sims (1993-94) and Dylan Page (2003-04).

Kudos to Ryan, who officially broke the program's single-season blocks record Tuesday with a pair against UIC and now has 39 for the year.
In the estimation of some longtime observers, he's one of the two best defensive guards -- along with Boo Davis -- to ever play for the school.
