Both teams were 27-55 from the floor. We were 12-23 from the 3-point line, however. We were also 15-32 on 2-point shots, so this was just a solid all-around offensive performance.

Close it out we did. Season didn't end after the last homestand debacle. 15-10 (8-5) and still 5 more conference games to go...

4 of 5 games on the road. Cleveland State is our only home conference game. I think we will beat Loyola, UIC, and Wright St. We can win both of the others as well since were at home vs CSU and I think we match up well against Detroit. Just look at the last time we played them.

True- but though you can't chalk up any W's in this league I'd like to think we can handle UIC and Loyola. Wright State and (esp.) Detroit will be a challenge. But I believe we can win out. Call me crazy. I'm used to it. I want to see a dramatic home game vs. Cleveland State with something serious on the line when that day comes... Gotta keep winning. Detroit is talented/worrisome... but look at how we handled them at the Cell this season. We can win and win and keep winning. Just gotta make shots from all over the court like we (FINALLY) did tonight.

Great bounce back by the guys.
The game is a lot simpler when you hit free throws, isn't it?
Detroit on Friday should be fun.

I miss the old days, when the general response to this game would be HAHAHAHAHAHAHA SUCK IT PMCK GREEN BAY SUCKS
UWM hasn't won at Green Bay since 07/08. Bruce Pearl only did it once. Rob Jeter has now done it 3 times.

It's POSSIBLE for us to win out and we certainly have the talent to do so, but given the "consistency" that we've played with lately, I'm not holding my breath either. I'm just hoping this game was a sign that things have changed.

I loved what Boudreau said in the radio post game. Basically that the theme in practice this week was: Forget drills, just go out and shoot.
For the first time all year, we won a game with offense. Watching online, this looked like a much more relaxed group than I have seen since DePaul. I hope this is continues.

The free throw shooting is great, but we shot 59% from the floor and 58% from 3 against Detroit. Funny enough, we still made 22 free throws in that game.
